Meridian Energy is New Zealand’s only natural energy producer and its commitment to sustainable business practice is to be admired.

The 2014 annual report signalled a departure from the tried and true tight grid corporate looking report. This year Meridian wanted to create a report that would better serve new investors. The business wanted the report to feel more magazine like, content needed to be accessible and digestible – for all stakeholders / investors. But we still needed to look and feel like Meridian. Our approach was to loosen the grid and include imagery that felt more real and less posed. Page spreads give content space to breathe and information is set to a clear hierarchy. The report is not only about the numbers – it’s about the companies people and stakeholders (investors and customers alike). We think the result is engaging, clean and hard working.
