As members of our great society we are all entitled to access information and have forums for discussion. More and more this is happening online.
If you’re disabled or have specific access requirements, this can be tricky, unfortunately more often than not. But not at the new Disabled Persons Assembly (DPA) website, a fully responsive site with the disability sector at heart. We worked with the team at DPA to ensure that the site architecture was clear and logical, and that the site allowed for high contrast (for the visually impaired), had video content in New Zealand sign language and was captioned (for the Deaf), met Government standards and looked great. It took a while to get there but the result is fantastic. Check it out for yourself www.dpa.org.nz
